This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Review and negotiate NDAs, order forms, SOWs, SaaS agreements, service contracts, data agreements, and marketing contracts.

• Draft initial versions of merchant agreements, amendments, and onboarding terms.

• Revise counterparty redlines with direction from senior attorneys.

• Recognize and summarize key contractual risks, including liability, indemnities, intellectual property, privacy, security, audit rights, termination, and service levels.

• Offer practical contract advice to Sales, Partnerships, Procurement, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Utilize Claude-enabled review workflows for contract processing and enhance playbooks and prompts.

• Manage cases through the intake queue and contract lifecycle management platform.

• Perform pre-signature checks and monitor renewals, amendments, and essential obligations.

• Maintain contract templates, fallback positions, and precedent libraries.

• Collaborate with Compliance and Procurement on third-party risk management and oversight terms related to bank partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and eligibility to practice law in LATAM (tarjeta profesional) or a US jurisdiction.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in commercial, corporate, or transactional law at a law firm or in-house, including internships, prácticas, or judicatura.

• Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Native or fluent in Spanish.

• Practical experience in drafting or reviewing commercial contracts in English.

• Regular, hands-on experience using AI tools like Claude in academic or professional settings.

• Proven experience working with Claude or similar large language model tools is mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage a substantial volume of contracts.

• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to articulate risk and opportunity in straightforward language.

• Availability to work with complete overlap of US Central business hours.
