JD Edwards Data & ERP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Extract, model, and transform data from JD Edwards tables, including Address Book, Item Master, Sales Order, General Ledger, and associated files.

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes from JDE into the client's data warehouse or reporting systems.

• Lead data mapping, conversion, cleansing, and reconciliation efforts for ERP implementation, upgrades, or migrations.

• Assist in planning and executing cutover activities.

• Create reliable and clean datasets for business intelligence dashboards and reporting for finance and operations.

• Establish validation and reconciliation processes between JDE and downstream systems.

• Identify and resolve root causes of data quality issues.

• Collaborate with finance, distribution, and manufacturing teams to transform inquiries into data requirements.

• Document data flows, mappings, and conversion protocols.

• Deliver a preliminary pipeline or dataset resolution within the first 30 days.

• Develop documented, repeatable reporting and conversion pipelines within the first 90 days.

• Act as the primary resource for JDE data inquiries within the client team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne and/or World).

• Comprehensive understanding of the JDE data model and table structures.

• Proficient in SQL on Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 / IBM i (AS400).

• Experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT development, pipeline design, and data modeling.

• Participation in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, upgrade, or migration that involved ownership of data conversion or migration tasks.

• Familiarity with JDE modules such as Financials, Distribution/Logistics, and Manufacturing.

• Availability to work full-time during US business hours.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders.

• Capable of functioning as an independent contractor.
