JD Edwards Data & ERP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Extract, model, and transform data from JD Edwards tables, such as Address Book, Item Master, Sales Order, General Ledger, and associated files.

• Design and sustain ETL/ELT processes for transferring data from JDE into the client's data warehouse or reporting platform.

• Lead the mapping, conversion, cleansing, and reconciliation of data for ERP implementation, upgrades, or migration initiatives.

• Assist in cutover planning and execution.

• Create reliable and clean datasets for BI dashboards and financial and operational reporting.

• Establish validation and reconciliation checks between JDE and downstream systems.

• Identify and resolve root causes of data quality issues.

• Collaborate with finance, distribution, and manufacturing users to convert inquiries into data requirements.

• Document data flows, mappings, and conversion rules.

• Comprehend the client's JDE footprint, key tables, and existing data flows.

• Provide solutions for pipeline or dataset issues.

• Act as the primary resource for JDE data inquiries within the client team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne and/or World).

• Profound understanding of the JDE data model and table structures.

• Proficient in SQL on Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 / IBM i (AS400).

• Experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT development, pipeline design, and data modeling.

• Completed at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, upgrade, or migration where you managed data conversion or migration tasks.

• Familiarity with core JDE modules: Financials, Distribution / Logistics, and Manufacturing.

• Availability to work full-time during US business hours.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders.

• Capable of working as an independent contractor.

• Candidates must be located in the LATAM Region only.
