Java Developer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain systems utilizing Java and the Spring ecosystem frameworks.

• Create REST APIs and execute API integrations.

• Implement design patterns.

• Manage legacy systems.

• Work with Java, Hibernate/JPA, JPQL/HQL, JSP, and Swagger.

• Operate within an Agile (SCRUM) framework.

• Utilize Jira and Bitbucket throughout the development process.

• Contribute to Evertec’s financial technology initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java 8.

• Experience with Java versions 1.6 and 1.7 (preferred).

• Knowledge of SQL Server.

• Familiarity with the Hibernate framework.

• Skills in REST API development.

• Experience in API integration.

• Understanding of design patterns.

• Proficient in Spring Security, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket.

• Knowledge of JPA (Hibernate).

• Experience with JPQL (HQL).

• Skills in JSP.

• Familiarity with Swagger.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience in maintaining legacy systems.

• Experience working within an Agile (SCRUM) framework.

• Experience with Angular (a plus).

• Familiarity with Sensedia (a plus).
