Java Back-End Developer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance back-end solutions tailored for the financial industry.

• Develop, manage, and optimize Backend for Frontend (BFF) applications, seamlessly connecting digital interfaces with business services.

• Create and implement APIs while coordinating service calls to ensure optimal integration performance, security, and reliability.

• Connect with various systems and data sources, processing information for accessibility by front-end applications.

• Apply business rules in accordance with defined requirements and the outlined solution.

• Maintain high code quality by adhering to established development best practices, security measures, and technical standards.

• Utilize data validation and transformation methods, along with strategies for error handling, timeouts, retries, and caching.

• Assist in developing scalable and robust solutions that meet the demands of digital channels.

• Create automated tests and enhance application observability.

• Operate in environments that experience high concurrency and substantial request volumes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end development utilizing Java.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining REST APIs.

• Understanding of integration contracts and API documentation via Swagger.

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.

• Knowledge of messaging services.

• Proficiency with GitHub and GitLab.

• Familiarity with Maven.

• Experience in application authentication and authorization.

• Understanding of data validation and transformation techniques.

• Experience with error handling, timeouts, retries, and caching strategies.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and best practices in software architecture.

• Experience with unit testing and test automation.

• Understanding of observability and resilience patterns.

• Proven track record in developing scalable solutions for high-demand environments with significant transaction volumes.
