Java Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions

• Create, evaluate, and manage technical solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle

• Design and implement microservices architectures and cloud deployments

• Develop roadmaps and design documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Contribute to the professional development initiatives of colleagues through coaching and mentoring

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Java development

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the development team

• Assess the latest Java technologies and frameworks

• Optimize application performance and scalability

• Work with security teams to implement cybersecurity best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered

• 5+ years of experience as a Java architect or in a similar role

• Strong skills in Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud implementations

• Experience with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail

• Familiarity with project management tools
