Italian Post-Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute post-editing tasks on a substantial volume of machine-translated marketing materials utilizing advanced machine learning tools.

• Ensure that the text is precise, grammatically sound, clear, and culturally relevant.

• Collaborate with a creative team to uphold consistency in established style, tone, and terminology.

• Aid in quality assurance by pinpointing recurring mistakes and delivering structured feedback.

• Fill out brief feedback forms and occasionally rate projects to enhance the performance of the machine translation engine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in post-editing, translation, or technical writing, whether on the agency side or client side.

• Strong background in post-editing tasks.

• Familiarity with machine translation systems and evaluation of MT output quality is preferred.

• Native Italian speaker with proficiency in English.

• Experience in translating marketing content while preserving brand voice and messaging.

• Understanding of technical writing principles and the ability to simplify complex technical language into accessible copy.

• Excellent attention to detail and capability to work under tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and offer constructive feedback.

• Preferred - proficiency with Mac applications.
