Italian Multimedia Content Reviewer, Part Time

📋 Description

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia, legal, technical, and marketing materials in accordance with established style guidelines.

• Craft copy for music, television, app store listings, video-on-demand services, and gaming subscription products.

• Evaluate both personal and team members' localization efforts for linguistic accuracy.

• Edit and verify facts within content.

• Conduct Localization QA testing on content published on active platforms.

• Investigate local content treatment, terminology, product trends, and practices in localization.

• Transcribe audio content such as song lyrics.

• Report on data and assets spanning various media and content formats.

• Assess linguistic evaluations and develop training resources and project documentation.

• Educate localization colleagues on terminology, style guidelines, and best practices.

• Collaborate with global language teams via virtual meetings and email to ensure alignment on terminology, style, and market insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content, including music, television, and applications.

• Submission of writing samples is required.

• Proven experience in the translation and localization of multimedia content.

• Strong ability to swiftly identify issues and inconsistencies in extensive content, exercising sound judgment in decisions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of music artists, television and film, gaming, and pop culture.

• Capacity to take ownership of a language market and confidently make linguistic decisions.

• Highly detail-oriented, skilled at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong computer skills; familiarity with iOS/macOS systems is advantageous.

• Capability to type in a native-level language using a local English keyboard.

• Ability to work independently and remotely.

• Collaborative nature, comfortable working in a multicultural setting.
