IT Technician – Systems, Virtualization and AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee, enhance, and manage the virtualization environment.

• Set up, configure, secure, and maintain SQL servers.

• Collaborate on the rollout, automation, and technical support for artificial intelligence tools and models.

• Provide technical assistance for network and server infrastructures.

• Offer basic support for the ACCEO Services de garde software.

• Document systems effectively.

• Coordinate with partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• College diploma (DEC) or a university degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in managing servers and virtualization environments (PowerShell, Active Directory, Windows Server, and general IT).

• Proven expertise with virtual hosting environments (Proxmox and VMware).

• Strong skills in installing, indexing, and managing Microsoft SQL Server.

• Keen interest in or practical experience with AI technologies.

• Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and highly inquisitive about technology.

• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to IT security standards.

• Customer service-oriented with a consistent dedication to user satisfaction.
