IT Systems Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain integrations between internal systems and SaaS platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS, and various business tools.

• Create and manage automation and workflows for system provisioning, access management, and data synchronization across platforms.

• Utilize APIs, scripting, and automation tools to connect systems and enhance operational procedures.

• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and IT teams on integrations related to identity, access, and security.

• Investigate, assess, and implement integration solutions for both technical and operational challenges.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability of integrations across connected systems.

• Engage with third-party vendors and platform providers to configure and support integrations.

• Develop and maintain documentation for integration architecture, workflows, and system interdependencies.

• Contribute to enhancements in system architecture, automation, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with SaaS platforms, integrations, or automation in a contemporary IT or engineering setting.

• Proficient in working with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

• Comfortable building automation using Python, Shell scripting, or comparable languages.

• Familiarity with identity and access management systems such as Okta or similar platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical issues by linking systems and optimizing workflows.

• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with changing technical requirements.

• Capacity to handle multiple integration projects concurrently.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in IT, Security, and Engineering.
