IT Specialist, M365, Azure, Meraki

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD), including users, groups, licenses, and role-based access control (RBAC).

• Supervise governance, compliance, and data retention for Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

• Monitor, maintain, and provision Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and virtual networking.

• Implement security policies using Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.

• Ensure secure VPN connections, VLAN segmentation, and firewall rules are maintained.

• Track network traffic and bandwidth to optimize uptime and performance.

• Act as the Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex cloud, networking, and hardware challenges.

• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, IT policies, and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with external ISPs, hardware vendors, and software providers.

• Support and enhance core infrastructure, cloud services, networking, Intune, Microsoft 365, Azure, and shared platforms across Europe and North America.

• Assist in standardization and project delivery while bolstering internal IT capabilities and reducing dependence on external suppliers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

• Demonstrated experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki hardware and software.

• Preference for candidates located on the East Coast to ensure time-zone alignment with core operations.

• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and cloud security frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Proficient communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Microsoft Certified: Administrator Associate (MS-102) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS) or CCNA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
