IT Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee the automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes across high-volume applications.

• Implement birthright roles along with HiBob-driven workflows for joiners, movers, and leavers.

• Integrate HiBob, JumpCloud, Tequipy, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and various other SaaS platforms using REST APIs, SCIM, webhooks, and n8n.

• Configure and troubleshoot SSO/SCIM and SAML flows within JumpCloud.

• Manage SSO application integrations and resolve provisioning and authentication challenges.

• Develop security automations for local admin removal and enforce least-privilege protocols.

• Contribute to DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance efforts.

• Administer Jira Service Management, the Atlassian Suite, Slack, and Notion.

• Configure JSM workflows, request types, forms, and automation processes.

• Build and test JumpCloud MDM policies, profiles, and scripts for zero-touch deployment on Windows and macOS.

• Manage software deployment and OS-level configurations at scale.

• Monitor logs, performance metrics, and SaaS usage to detect inefficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, automation workflows, and API maps.

• Lead smaller technical projects from the requirements stage to delivery.

• Offer technical guidance to the team and collaborate with Security, People Ops, and DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or IT/DevOps engineering.

• Practical expertise in both Windows and macOS environments.

• Strong experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with JumpCloud or a similar Identity Provider (IdP), encompassing SSO, SCIM, and SAML.

• Proficient in configuring integrations and resolving complex provisioning and authentication issues.

• Solid experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), particularly with JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf.

• Background in creating profiles and scripts for zero-touch deployment.

• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Experience in integrating multiple systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and SCIM.

• Familiarity with n8n or a comparable automation/integration platform.

• Proficient in administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, preferably Jira Service Management.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced use of AI tools for troubleshooting, drafting automations, and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, DORA, SOC 2, and SaaS governance tooling is highly advantageous.

• Experience with HiBob or similar HRIS-driven automation systems is a significant plus.

• Experience with Tequipy or similar hardware lifecycle management tools is a strong advantage.

• Experience in high-growth infrastructure settings is a valuable plus.

• ITIL 4 Foundation and JumpCloud Core Certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications, is a strong plus.
