IT Solutions Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of technology-driven applications, products, and services.

• Offer solutions to technical challenges and ensure adherence to development timelines and technical specifications.

• Engage in and provide insights during the design, redesign, and development of technological products and applications.

• Oversee software specification and design stages of the software development life cycle.

• Direct and manage new software development initiatives and enhancement projects.

• Collaborate with other technologists for systems installation and software testing.

• Lead root-cause analysis and suggest solutions for software-related issues.

• Work alongside the business to define long-term strategic objectives for business and systems.

• Handle routine production support fixes.

• Generate requirements and design documentation in collaboration with technical team members and subject matter experts.

• Record specifications and requirements for implementation while developing Business Process Procedures (BPPs).

• Assist in functional testing to ensure that business requirements are satisfied.

• Serve as project manager for complete project life cycles and minor enhancements.

• Collaborate with program management, team management, Digital Marketing, Business Marketing, and business process teams.

• Assess functionality and processes, recommending improvements, particularly for E-commerce sales, leasing, and rentals.

• Document and support disaster recovery efforts.

• Participate in support packages, enhancements, and system upgrades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, or Business; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Master's Degree is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• 5 years or more in application development or technology management OR related experience OR a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in MS-SQL/SSIS-SSRS.

• Advanced skills in Warehouse Management Systems.

• Basic knowledge of C#/.Net/ASP.

• Introductory experience with Web Services/API.

• Strong technical aptitude.

• Proven skills in configuration management, data management, information management, network security, IT architecture, infrastructure design, systems integration, and systems life-cycle management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to foster and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Adaptability to operate and a self-driven approach to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in multi-tasking, highly organized, with exceptional time management skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.

• Willingness to travel 30-40%.
