IT Security Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance IT security policies, procedures, and controls continuously.

• Develop and maintain security tools, such as SentinelOne EDR/XDR, SIEM, and Kandji MDM.

• Monitor security alerts, investigate potential threats, and manage incident response and remediation efforts.

• Administer vulnerability management, endpoint security, access controls, MFA, VPN, and network security.

• Supervise backups, disaster recovery, and data protection initiatives.

• Assist with cloud and email security measures, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

• Facilitate security audits, penetration testing, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001/GDPR.

• Maintain ISMS documentation, security KPIs, and compliance records.

• Support vendor security evaluations and respond to customer security inquiries.

• Foster security awareness and seek opportunities to enhance and automate security processes.

• Collaborate closely with employees, internal teams, external security experts, auditors, and technology vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.

• Practical experience with endpoint security, MDM, IAM, MFA, SSO, and access management solutions.

• Solid knowledge of network security principles, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.

• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.

• Familiarity with cloud security practices and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Basic understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, ISMS, and risk management frameworks.

• Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Proficient in English.

• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.

• Valid authorization to work in Poland or the European Union without visa sponsorship.
