IT Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of security engineers and analysts responsible for safeguarding Lakeshore through vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and identity and access management.

• Develop the security strategy while collaborating with various business units to mitigate risks and establish a sustainable security framework.

• Propel the execution of long-term security initiatives, converting strategy into actionable plans and ensuring progress amidst changing priorities.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and leadership to formulate and uphold information security policies, procedures, governance, risk management, and plans.

• Assess security technologies and controls, overseeing their implementation and ongoing enhancement efforts to fortify the security posture.

• Diagnose the root causes of technical and operational challenges, guiding the team towards sustainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in information security, with significant exposure across various domains, including vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, or identity and access management.

• More than 2 years of experience in leading a team of security professionals, encompassing hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.

• Proven experience in securing both on-premises and cloud environments, with a comprehensive understanding of cloud networking and operational concepts.

• Ability to clearly articulate security risks and recommendations to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in contributing to or executing security roadmaps, policies, or programs within a growing or maturing organization.
