IT Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee security alerts through ITSM platforms

• Address security alerts by utilizing open-source intelligence to enhance investigations

• Monitor, assess, and characterize cyber threats to the organization

• Actively seek out security threats and anomalies within the network

• Conduct both static and dynamic analysis of malware in a sandbox environment

• Keep informed about the latest threat attack vectors and countermeasures

• Create and sustain documentation on SOC processes and protocols

• Collaborate with the IT Security Operations Center team to identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents

• Enhance SOC processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Cybersecurity

• Azure Certifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in a technical role within cyber security operations

• 1-2+ years of experience in an internal SOC or an MSSP

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environments and solutions

• Experience in working with and analyzing logs from IDPS, E​​DR, and firewall solutions

• Strong understanding of incident response

• Strong understanding of malware analysis

• Strong understanding of endpoint and network digital forensics

• Strong understanding of security detection rules

• Strong understanding of best security practices and frameworks
