IT & Security Administrator – Mac, Windows, Google Workspace

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee endpoint protection and device security for both Mac and Windows platforms.

• Manage security and access controls for Google Workspace accounts.

• Ensure operating systems and essential software are regularly updated and patched.

• Monitor and react to security alerts as they arise.

• Supervise device and data backup solutions.

• Conduct routine IT/security maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

• Complete an initial transition/setup project successfully.

• Provide ongoing lean maintenance support.

• Maintain documentation for the environment.

• Proactively identify and flag security or reliability concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the US.

• Significant experience in supporting small businesses with approximately 10–30 users.

• Practical experience with both macOS and Windows operating systems.

• Strong background in Google Workspace administration and security practices.

• Proficiency in endpoint protection, patch management, device security, and backup solutions.

• Preferably experienced with Huntress, ideally holding an existing Huntress partner account and capable of providing licenses.

• Must be able to personally execute the work instead of primarily subcontracting it.

• Excellent communication, documentation skills, and adherence to security protocols.

• References from comparable small-business clients are highly valued.
