IT QA Analyst – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze and comprehend both business and technical requirements for designated projects.

• Develop and uphold both manual and automated testing plans, scenarios, and cases.

• Prepare and set up test data, ensuring readiness for test execution.

• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing while documenting outcomes.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects in collaboration with development and project teams.

• Provide consistent updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release processes.

• Collaborate with global teams and vendors across various systems.

• Contribute to enhancements in QA processes, standardization, and automation efforts.

• Design, implement, and sustain test cases for assigned projects.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software within established timelines and promote continuous improvement of QA practices and automation.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional and international teams.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Practical experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.

• Experience utilizing test management and defect tracking tools.

• Basic to intermediate familiarity with test automation frameworks.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently with moderate oversight.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, ideally in agile and international project settings.
