IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily project operations either independently or in collaboration with internal or vendor project leaders.

• Create and uphold project plans, including milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines.

• Decompose project roadmaps into distinct, manageable phases of work.

• Coordinate efforts among internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Provide updates on project status and guarantee that risks, issues, and decisions are transparent to stakeholders.

• Ensure follow-through on decisions, action items, and commitments.

• Modify plans as priorities, requirements, and organizational needs change.

• Raise issues and risks while assisting in identifying options and subsequent actions.

• Assist with system enhancement requests and the intake process.

• Recognize cross-team dependencies and engage the relevant stakeholders.

• Cultivate working relationships and promote collaboration among teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of project management experience, ideally in technology, digital transformation, or complex systems initiatives.

• PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects that involve both business and technical teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and maintain collaborative progress.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to juggle multiple workstreams, dependencies, and priorities concurrently.

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

• Strong facilitation skills, able to keep meetings concentrated on decisions, actions, and next steps.

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
