Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various functions with Product and Engineering teams to explore solutions, establish specifications, and maintain ongoing communication regarding project status and requirements.

• Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation management, workflow organization, and progress tracking.

• Ensure that project reports are accurate, current, and distributed in a timely manner.

• Provide clear insights into project progress to leadership and stakeholders, facilitating effective decision-making, approvals, and direction.

• Organize and lead project reviews with key stakeholders to communicate progress, align on upcoming milestones, support decision-making, and proactively address risks.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to effectively manage deadlines, deliverables, and project objectives.

• Acquire domain knowledge and engage relevant subject-matter experts through prioritization and prompt follow-up to eliminate blockers.

• Utilize past experiences to identify opportunities for improvement and advocate for best practices that enhance project performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Background in Engineering or QA.

• Proficient in English with experience working directly with Executives.

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management; 3+ years in an Agile environment.

• Strong familiarity with Agile practices, including 1-week sprints and Program Increment planning.

• Demonstrated ability to create structure in ambiguous settings and build robust relationships at all organizational levels.

• Experience in collaborating with distributed/global product and engineering teams.

• Strong capacity to comprehend complex technical concepts and translate them effectively for non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to influence without direct authority, drive consensus, and establish trust and strong support from stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve outcomes through structured processes and collaborative networks.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats, including well-organized documentation.

• Self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, and collaborative, with a customer-centric approach and a proactive mindset towards achieving results. Comfortable working with multiple cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, design, and QA.

• Hands-on experience managing projects that integrate AI capabilities into products or workflows, with the capability to communicate AI requirements, risks, and constraints to stakeholders.
