IT Network Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design and execute contemporary network technologies.

• Provide professional support for IT networks, with a particular emphasis on firewalls.

• Deliver 2nd- and 3rd-level assistance for queries related to networks.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within network environments.

• Conduct error analysis and determine root causes of problems.

• Formulate strategies aimed at enhancing service quality.

• Document service architectures across different network environments.

• Create and update customer-specific service and operational documentation, including user manuals and CMDB links.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in IT network support, particularly focusing on firewalls.

• Strong expertise in firewalls, complemented by appropriate certifications (Fortinet FCP or FCSS).

• Familiarity with Fortinet, Forcepoint, PaloAlto, and Sophos is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of Meraki and HPE networking products is preferred.

• Solid knowledge of proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and firewall log analysis tools.

• Proficiency in Ansible, Python, and APIs related to networking components for automation purposes.

• Experience with network management solutions such as Nagios, Zabbix, HP IMC, and Network Nodemanager.

• Understanding of ITIL and ISO 20000 frameworks.

• Proficient in business-level English, both written and spoken.

• German language skills are a plus.
