This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform the current helpdesk and system administration team from a reactive support model to a proactive, process-oriented internal service organization.
• Guide and mentor the IT team while recognizing career aspirations, strengths, skill gaps, and coaching possibilities.
• Take ownership of the IT project roadmap, prioritization framework, and cross-departmental IT initiatives.
• Develop reliable, automated, and audit-compliant employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Evaluate helpdesk Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ticket workflows, project intake methods, productivity and quality metrics, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, documentation deficiencies, and automation possibilities.
• Formulate and implement a 6–12 month improvement plan.
• Oversee migrations, security enhancements, and system deployments.
• Manage 2–3 vendor partnerships and make informed, data-driven decisions regarding vendor evaluations and risks.
• Take charge of the company's application authentication policy and establish access management standards.
• Create disaster recovery plans for essential systems.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for onboarding and offboarding efficiency and accuracy.
• Convey complex migrations and roadmap priorities throughout the organization.
• Position IT as a proactive cross-functional collaborator that supports company-wide initiatives.
• Documented examples from your career that showcase your ability to succeed in this role.
• Experience in building systems, fostering alignment, and generating significant impact at scale.
• Capability to lead and mentor individuals.
• Willingness to take ownership of projects and roadmaps.

• Openness to travel up to 15 days per year; senior management and leadership teams may travel up to 35 days per year.
