IT Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the IT Director and company leadership to establish and implement OLIPOP's IT strategy, roadmap, and annual objectives.

• Create, document, and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.

• Manage IT vendor relationships from sourcing to contract negotiations, renewals, and ongoing performance evaluations.

• Oversee IT budget planning, optimize spending, and report on technology ROI.

• Supervise daily IT operations across cloud platforms, networking, endpoint management, and security infrastructure.

• Handle upgrades, new deployments, and migrations with minimal disruption and clear communication to stakeholders.

• Drive the SaaS lifecycle management, including onboarding, access control, renewals, and integrations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system uptime, performance, and prompt issue resolution.

• Lead information security initiatives, including SSO/MFA, identity governance, and zero-trust architecture utilizing Okta and Zscaler.

• Maintain and enhance endpoint protection, threat detection, and email security using Arctic Wolf and Abnormal.

• Conduct IT risk assessments, user-access reviews, and incident-response drills.

• Ensure audit readiness for ITGC, SOC 2, and SOX-related controls while supporting compliance with company security policies.

• Lead cross-functional IT projects, migrations, implementations, and automation initiatives from inception through to delivery.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with SaaS providers and technology partners.

• Provide project documentation, timelines, and communication to stakeholders.

• Offer hands-on support and mentorship to IT staff and end-users.

• Supervise the IT helpdesk, including SLAs, processes, and escalation procedures.

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance.

• Design and deliver internal training and self-service resources to promote productivity and security awareness.

• Support the rollout and adoption of security tools and endpoint-management platforms.

• Continuously evaluate and improve IT service delivery through automation, monitoring, and user feedback mechanisms.

• Reports directly to the Director of IT.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in managing IT operations within a cloud-first, SaaS-centric environment.

• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Zscaler, Okta, Arctic Wolf, Abnormal, and other contemporary IT and security tools.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional IT projects and managing vendors from negotiation to execution.

• Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, ITGC, and best practices for data protection and access management.

• Demonstrated capability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical implementation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in supporting audit readiness and compliance programs (SOX, SOC 2).

• Background in managing or scaling small IT teams in fast-growing environments.
