This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and execute a variety of IT infrastructure and implementation projects, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, and business goals are successfully met.
• Facilitate the deployment of network, voice, wireless, cabling, and infrastructure solutions for both branch and corporate sites.
• Analyze site surveys, technical documentation, and construction plans to establish project requirements and execution strategies.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Engineering, vendors, and business partners on new constructions, relocations, renovations, and technology enhancements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including Statements of Work, Bills of Materials, procurement, and contractor activities.
• Supervise installation, testing, and validation of infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with company and industry standards.
• Coordinate voice, data, and network services while confirming that MDF/IDF, cabling, and hardware installations adhere to requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, budgets, purchase orders, and updates within ServiceNow, CMDB, and project management tools.
• Deliver project communications, status updates, and customer notifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Support teams to ensure successful implementations and operational readiness.
• Represent Ferguson with professionalism while providing outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Support corporate initiatives, objectives, and efforts for continuous improvement.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• 2-4 years of experience in IT project coordination/management, IT infrastructure implementation, telecommunications, networking, or a similar technology environment.
• Experience in supporting or managing IT infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, both inside and outside plant connectivity, and Ethernet and copper-based network environments.
• Familiarity with voice and data technologies, including VoIP, routing, switching, wireless networking, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ServiceNow.
• Experience with Visio, SharePoint, or other diagramming and collaboration tools.
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple concurrent projects while adhering to deadlines.
• Proven capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
• Strong time management, organizational, and project coordination abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Capability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and business requirements and apply them effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues involving service providers, network infrastructure, hardware, and related technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical participants.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multi-functional teams and cultivate strong working relationships with internal associates, vendors, and project partners.
