This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, budget, plan, coordinate, and implement nuclear field services projects.

• Assist in the development of proposals and contract negotiations.

• Initiate project openings in the ERP system.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for installation and maintenance services during the R process.

• Participate in pre-proposal and negotiation meetings.

• Create project scopes, schedules, loadboards, JCE, tooling, quotes, parts, resources, and deliverables.

• Strategize job site setups and outages prior to mobilization.

• Produce JIS, labor, and specialty service requests.

• Coordinate design engineering, customer interactions, pre-site work, and LORaP workshops.

• Request internal and external purchase orders.

• Develop and finalize the pre-mobilization section of the GE OneEHS plan.

• Formulate outage work-order task plans that encompass safety protocols, equipment, parts, tooling, specialty services, and resources.

• Complete and oversee the One EHS plan upon site mobilization prior to the start of the outage.

• Establish and manage project costs and ongoing estimates until completion.

• Design, plan, and control project schedules and payment milestones.

• Provide contingency planning to ensure prompt execution.

• Manage risks, opportunities, issues, and mitigation strategies.

• Address execution challenges related to safety, HOP, quality, FME, NCRs, parts, product service, engineering, controls, and commercial aspects.

• Generate precise management reports for assigned projects.

• Secure technical and financial authorization for projects.

• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee the Scope Change Authorization process.

• Lead and guide projects from initial conception through to delivery.

• Conduct reviews for project feedback.

• Complete field services reports, engineering change documentation, POR documents, project closeout documentation, best practices documentation, lessons learned, and OE summaries.

• Attend training seminars as necessary.

• Promote GE products during customer presentations and events.

• Foster relationships with customers, colleagues, Engineering, and global teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or 10 years of relevant work experience.

• Over 5 years of pertinent project management experience in the power generation or industrial manufacturing sectors.

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in commercial activities and negotiations.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Capable of gaining and maintaining unescorted access to a nuclear power facility in Canada, Mexico, or the U.S.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% annually within Canada, Mexico, domestically, and internationally.

• Ability to obtain and uphold a valid passport.

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

• Ability to walk up to 5 miles daily.

• Capacity to climb 3 flights of stairs three times a day.

• Ability to use ladders as needed to access work areas.

• Familiarity with PMP concepts and processes.

• Experience with Steam Power systems in Nuclear, Fossil, or Gas power plant environments.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and possess working knowledge of Primavera P6.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills tailored for technical and business audiences.

• Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
