This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Establish the IT strategy and vision of the organization in accordance with corporate objectives.
• Oversee the Transition Services Agreement (TSA), ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, managing timelines, maintaining service continuity, fostering stakeholder collaboration, resolving issues, and optimizing processes.
• Direct Salesforce solution implementations and act as the organization’s authority on Salesforce deployments.
• Counsel business stakeholders on utilizing technology to achieve strategic objectives.
• Pinpoint opportunities for process optimization, including a strategy for insourcing versus TSA.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with IT service delivery.
• Spearhead change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and procedures.
• Define and monitor IT performance metrics that encompass uptime, user satisfaction, cost management, and project delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure IT strategies are aligned with business objectives.
• Offer expertise on IT-related issues and formulate and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, execution, and delivery.
• At least 5 years of experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Preferred professional certifications in IT governance, security, or project management (such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP).
• Significant managerial experience with Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Office, mobile connectivity, VPN, wireless networking, and help desk operations.
• Experience in IT business partnership and managing Transition Services Agreements.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with selecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and PLM.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
• Highly preferred experience with mergers and acquisitions, company separation, and acquisitions.
• Knowledgeable about data centers and end-to-end infrastructure.
