IT Deployment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Plan and implement IT deployments, upgrades, and migrations at both new and existing locations.

• Install, set up, and test POS systems, including DRB and ICS, payment kiosks, network devices, and associated hardware and software.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with networks, tunnel controllers, ground loops, cameras, phones, wireless systems, and other site technology.

• Provide high-level support for the IT Support team.

• Address site equipment malfunctions promptly.

• Engage in the support call queue when not on-site.

• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors.

• Maintain documentation of completed tasks.

• Offer training and post-deployment assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in IT operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; a combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.

• Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, POS systems, IT hardware and software, control systems, low-voltage systems, and cameras.

• Proficient hands-on troubleshooting abilities.

• Capacity to manage technical projects and work with a degree of autonomy.

• Strong communication skills and effective documentation practices.

• Ability to convey technical issues to a diverse audience.

• Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time.

• Comfortable working in office settings and active car wash environments.

• Occasionally able to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

• ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are advantageous.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Prepared to undergo a comprehensive background check, including a DMV check, if offered employment.
