IT Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee team resources, identify and eliminate obstacles, and guarantee the successful delivery of solutions.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate within a team setting.

• Share updates, seek assistance when necessary, and offer constructive feedback.

• Keep abreast of existing and emerging agile best practices.

• Stay informed about technologies pertinent to supported projects and security best practices.

• Execute software projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Develop roadmaps, plan sprints, and prioritize backlogs.

• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and technical teams.

• Recognize bottlenecks and proactively address risks.

• Foster continuous process improvement through retrospectives, OKRs, and KPIs.

• Effectively communicate with engineers regarding software development, DevOps, cloud, and CI/CD.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience managing development teams, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering software projects using Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in Agile (Scrum, Kanban), GitHub Issues, and Jira.

• Experience in creating roadmaps, planning sprints, and prioritizing backlogs.

• Proven ability to communicate with executives, customers, and technical teams.

• Experience in identifying bottlenecks and proactively mitigating risks.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement through retrospectives, OKRs, and KPIs.

• Understanding of software development, DevOps, cloud technologies, and CI/CD.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

• One of the following certifications is mandatory: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
