IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead for the BI platform and strategy within the PRMO Business Intelligence team.

• Establish BI standards, governance, and a long-term analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's priorities.

• Oversee BI platforms, security measures, and organizational reporting frameworks.

• Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to develop impactful analytical initiatives.

• Ensure the consistency, scalability, risk management, and overall efficiency of BI solutions.

• Offer advanced technical guidance, consultation, and support to Business Process Consultants and Senior IT Analysts.

• Work together with leadership to align BI and data analytics initiatives with business goals.

• Spearhead technological innovation, implementation, and optimization of BI solutions.

• Address complex, high-risk technological and analytical issues.

• Define and manage technical standards and innovation strategies for the BI environment.

• Assess, approve, and advocate for the adoption of new BI technologies.

• Supervise and implement BI platform upgrades, configure reporting environments, and monitor system performance.

• Diagnose system performance issues and report errors as necessary.

• Create and manage backups to guarantee data integrity.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Analysis Services cubes while configuring cube partitions for optimal performance.

• Establish and govern data visualization standards, KPI definitions, and best practices for visualization.

• Review and endorse high-impact dashboards and guide visualization strategies for complex analytics.

• Define and govern PRMO reporting priorities and set standards for data sourcing, report design, and automation.

• Approve methodologies for impactful or cross-domain reporting solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline is required.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in business intelligence and analytics within a healthcare setting.

• Advanced expertise in Epic EHR data and reporting platforms.

• Proven track record of providing strategic leadership for BI platforms, standards, and governance.

• Demonstrated success in partnering with senior and executive leadership to shape analytics strategy and manage complex, cross-domain BI initiatives.

• Certification in Epic Clarity Data Model and Revenue Data Model is required.

• Expert knowledge of IT Service Management principles and their application within organizational business intelligence and analytics environments.

• Proven ability to cultivate and sustain strong business relationships across all organizational levels.

• Strong grasp of Service Level Management, performance measurement, and operational governance.

• Ability to engage, influence, and effectively communicate with technical teams, business partners, and senior/executive leadership.

• Experience with service management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

• Excellent skills in organization, time management, communication, and presentations.

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with robust troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and self-direction.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and associated productivity tools.
