πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assess organizations, mainly within the financial services sector, such as community banks and credit unions.

β€’ Adhere to established and highly consistent audit methodologies.

β€’ Oversee and finalize information security audits that encompass policies, procedures, security controls, industry best practices, and the preparation of both draft and final client reports.

β€’ Lead and execute compliance audits that evaluate existing policies, procedures, and implemented controls.

β€’ Collaborate and communicate with team members regarding social engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.

β€’ Support the entire engagement process, from client kickoff to report delivery and subsequent follow-up.

β€’ Stay updated on cybersecurity topics, trends, and standards.

β€’ Occasionally travel to client locations for onsite testing and auditing activities.

β€’ Assist in crafting processes and procedures aimed at enhancing audits and assessments.

β€’ Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure and management.

β€’ Familiarity with audit functions and security controls.

β€’ Knowledge of risk management principles.

β€’ Understanding of network security and its implementation.

β€’ Awareness of information security policies and procedures.

β€’ Proficient written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

β€’ Capability to manage projects and effectively multitask.

β€’ Strong customer service orientation.

β€’ Preferably experienced or knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 administration, network administration, virtual environments, cloud computing, Active Directory, firewall implementation and monitoring, SIEM, wireless technologies, and remote access.

β€’ A 2 or 4-year degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience in community banking, bank examination, information or cybersecurity roles, consulting, and/or auditing is preferred.

β€’ A valid driver's license is required.

β€’ Must qualify for SBS insurance coverage.

β€’ Experience within the financial services industry, particularly with community banks and credit unions, is preferred.

β€’ Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, one of the specified states before the first day of employment.
