IT Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess organizations, mainly within the financial services sector, such as community banks and credit unions.

• Adhere to established and highly consistent audit methodologies.

• Oversee and finalize information security audits that encompass policies, procedures, security controls, industry best practices, and the preparation of both draft and final client reports.

• Lead and execute compliance audits that evaluate existing policies, procedures, and implemented controls.

• Collaborate and communicate with team members regarding social engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.

• Support the entire engagement process, from client kickoff to report delivery and subsequent follow-up.

• Stay updated on cybersecurity topics, trends, and standards.

• Occasionally travel to client locations for onsite testing and auditing activities.

• Assist in crafting processes and procedures aimed at enhancing audits and assessments.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure and management.

• Familiarity with audit functions and security controls.

• Knowledge of risk management principles.

• Understanding of network security and its implementation.

• Awareness of information security policies and procedures.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

• Capability to manage projects and effectively multitask.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Preferably experienced or knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 administration, network administration, virtual environments, cloud computing, Active Directory, firewall implementation and monitoring, SIEM, wireless technologies, and remote access.

• A 2 or 4-year degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience in community banking, bank examination, information or cybersecurity roles, consulting, and/or auditing is preferred.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must qualify for SBS insurance coverage.

• Experience within the financial services industry, particularly with community banks and credit unions, is preferred.

• Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, one of the specified states before the first day of employment.
