IS Program Manager – Enterprise Medical Device Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership for programs, strategic coordination, and oversight of execution for enterprise initiatives in Clinical Technology Strategy & Delivery.

• Spearhead enterprise medical device strategy initiatives.

• Develop and establish enterprise programs and initiatives.

• Create program frameworks and governance structures.

• Coordinate strategic workstreams and promote collaboration across functions.

• Maintain visibility and oversight at the enterprise level for downstream programs and projects.

• Ensure alignment with strategic goals, organizational requirements, timelines, and desired outcomes.

• Manage escalations, address dependencies across programs, eliminate obstacles, and support execution teams.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and implement strategic roadmaps.

• Analyze data and performance insights.

• Convert strategic priorities into operational results.

• Establish structures, processes, and organizational alignment for the enterprise medical device strategy.

• Empower leaders to concentrate on higher-level strategy, stakeholder engagement, and innovation.

• Manage change and resolve issues that span multiple programs.

• Lead through influence without having direct authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations, or Information Technology, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• 6 years of experience in Information Technology and/or the Healthcare Industry.

• 6 years of experience with project management methodologies grounded in project management principles.

• Proven experience in implementing and facilitating intricate decision-making frameworks among various executive stakeholders with diverse interests and priorities.

• 1 year of relevant portfolio management experience.

• Demonstrated public speaking experience in professional settings such as conferences and association meetings.

• Experience with vendor and contract management as well as negotiations.

• Background in business development, marketing, communications, financial planning, and metrics/benchmarks that support improved quality and process design.

• Preferred: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a clinical field.

• Preferred: PgMP certification.

• Preferred: PMP certification.

• Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, Lean CQIA, or other nationally recognized process improvement certifications.

• Preferred: 8 years of experience in project and/or program management.

• Preferred: 6 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

• Preferred: Experience in developing enterprise program charters, governance structures, strategic roadmaps, and execution frameworks.

• Preferred: Experience in strategic planning, business case development, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and translating organizational priorities into actionable programs and initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience in coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple workstreams, programs, and project execution teams.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with senior leadership, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams in complex, matrixed organizations.

• Preferred: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for crafting actionable insights and recommendations for executive audiences.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology, clinical informatics, medical device management, clinical engineering, healthcare IT, or related clinical technology fields.
