This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform reverse engineering, debugging, development, and testing of virtual iOS devices.
• Engage with closed-source peripherals and drivers.
• Design, implement, and uphold high-quality, reliable software.
• Optimize code for resource efficiency, reliability, performance, and energy conservation.
• Architect and design new software components.
• Compose and execute test cases following established templates and best practices.
• Ensure the latest iOS versions are successfully ported to and supported on the proprietary hypervisor.
• Work alongside the hardware modeling team to ensure proper functionality of iOS-related hypervisor components.
• Develop and sustain automated test infrastructure and regression test suites.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders to grasp product requirements and roadmap priorities.
• Assess and validate embedded design alternatives to create optimal system architectures.
• Cooperate closely with the QA team to guarantee comprehensive test coverage and prompt resolution of firmware defects.
• Create scalable solutions that fulfill performance demands and customer expectations.
• Contribute to both technical and internal engineering documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• In-depth understanding of iOS architecture, system frameworks, and services.
• Strong skills in iOS reverse engineering.
• Solid comprehension of the ARMv8 (AArch64) instruction set architecture.
• Proficient in C and Objective-C (experience with Swift and C++ is an advantage).
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
• Expertise in iOS debugging methodologies, including crash report and kernel panic analysis.
• Knowledge of the iOS SDK, IPC, and IOKit (experience in tweak development is a bonus).
• Experience using LLDB, GDB, and Frida.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Shell or Python).
• Experience with Git for source code version control.
• Equivalent practical experience may replace the stated bachelor’s degree.
