Invoicing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and process invoices in accordance with contractual agreements, company policies, and established billing schedules.

• Collaborate with the Accounting team and internal stakeholders to verify billing information, address discrepancies, and ensure timely invoicing.

• Address inquiries related to billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment statuses.

• Work alongside Accounting to verify the receipt, application, and reconciliation of payments from customers and carriers.

• Maintain precise and thorough billing records within relevant systems and applications.

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end processes, including account reconciliations, audits, reporting, and data cleansing.

• Detect and escalate billing or payment issues in line with established protocols.

• Suggest and facilitate enhancements to the invoicing processes.

• Deliver prompt and professional service while upholding confidentiality and adhering to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of two years of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

• Capacity to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in restoration and/or property adjusting is advantageous.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Competence with other Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent organizational and administrative management abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects and assignments within tight deadlines.

• Dependable high-speed home broadband internet connection with Ethernet capability is required for remote workdays.
