Investor Relations, Fundraising Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and manage the fundraising pipeline from active discussions through to closure, ensuring that CRM data, notes, follow-ups, and analytics remain up-to-date.

• Develop focused, specialized engagement strategies and pinpoint key contacts for partner events.

• Arrange calls, meetings, and visits with potential investors.

• Monitor every subsequent action, note, and follow-up.

• Compose and send prompt, considerate email follow-ups after each interaction.

• Assist partners throughout fundraising cycles that span from six months to two or three years.

• Conduct weekly reviews of the pipeline to evaluate momentum, highlight next steps, and maintain progress.

• Gather investor insights and prepare briefings for partners.

• Facilitate internal transitions to ensure inquiries reach the appropriate individuals and are resolved swiftly.

• Enhance fundraising procedures, maintain pipeline discipline, and improve visibility across 120–200+ contacts at various stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Background in private equity, venture capital, wealth management, a family office, or another buy-side investment fund.

• Familiarity with fundraising and deal-flow processes from a limited partner perspective.

• Experience collaborating with family offices and institutional investors is particularly advantageous.

• Alternatively, experience in enterprise sales or business development within the software or technology sectors.

• Previous experience with sophisticated clients and lengthy, intricate sales processes.

• Highly effective interpersonal skills.

• Strong follow-up discipline.

• Comfortable working closely with senior partners and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of when to engage, when to hold back, and how to provide value at each interaction.

• Proficient with AI tools.

• Experience in CRM-based pipeline management.

• Demonstrates sound judgment, a strong perspective, positive energy during challenging situations, and the initiative to take ownership without needing direction.
