Investor Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Expand the investor segment of Pairs, targeting family offices, venture capitalists, and strategic investors.

• Assist the senior investor team with ongoing mandates.

• Develop and maintain a qualified, engaged portfolio of investor relationships.

• Assess investor qualifications, create briefing documents, and follow up on active deals.

• Conduct regular introductory conversations with investors who are new to Pairs.

• Observe calls and prepare briefs as a stepping stone toward a senior position.

• Schedule investor meetings between Pairs clients and potential investors.

• Aim to establish 70–150 investor connections within the first three months.

• Arrange a minimum of 10 investor meetings weekly, with 20–30 regarded as strong leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Have developed your own investor network through a family office, placement, accelerator, fund, wealth management, or personal initiative.

• Be familiar with investors who support US-based startups, as mandates are exclusively US-oriented.

• Have facilitated over 100 introductions between businesses and investors.

• Capable of explaining your approach to identifying suitable investors, initiating conversations, and maintaining warm relationships.

• Eager to grow and learn from a senior team.

• Communicate effectively and confidently both verbally and in writing.

• Build trust by prioritizing listening and valuing investors' time.

• Manage confidential information with discretion.

• Utilize Claude confidently, including connectors and MCP servers.

• Authorized to work in your home country; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Availability to overlap with US Eastern time for several hours.
