This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Comprehend customer requirements and deliver wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.

• Counsel clients on wealth and investment strategies and products that align with their goals.

• Execute sales and service activities in accordance with established procedures.

• Recognize and refer clients to different business units as necessary.

• Conduct outbound calls and proactively seek opportunities to improve customer experience.

• Keep track of consumer needs, industry developments, best practices, and the regulatory landscape.

• Deliver high-quality sales and service for inquiries, issues, and requests from customers and prospects.

• Investigate to understand individual investment requirements and provide advice accordingly.

• Meet sales goals focused on relevant investment offerings.

• Handle transactional results or refer contacts to the suitable internal business units.

• Elevate complex or unresolved issues to senior management.

• Finalize documentation following customer interactions.

• Stay updated on investment markets, practices, and trends.

• Incorporate marketing promotions and initiatives into customer discussions.

• Ensure confidentiality of customer and bank information.

• Identify and report any suspicious activities related to money laundering.

• Comply with regulatory and compliance standards, including AML/ATF, FCAC, and Privacy Act provisions.

• Accomplish complex and varied tasks within set rules and limits, including escalations.

• Analyze challenges and determine subsequent steps.

• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions that align with business strategies, policies, laws, and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

• A post-secondary degree in a related discipline is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is mandatory.

• Awareness of competitive market trends and product offerings.

• Familiarity with BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.

• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.

• Basic understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.

• Specialized knowledge is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
