This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comprehend customer requirements and deliver wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or prospects.
• Counsel clients on wealth and investment strategies and products that align with their goals.
• Execute sales and service tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Recognize and refer to other business units as necessary.
• Initiate outbound calls and proactively discover opportunities to improve customer experience with appropriate investment products.
• Keep informed about consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory landscape.
• Offer professional sales and support for inquiries, issues, and requests from customers and prospects.
• Delve into customer needs and guide them through their unique investment requirements.
• Meet sales objectives focused on relevant investment products.
• Handle transactional outcomes or refer issues to the suitable internal business units.
• Elevate complex or unresolved matters to senior management.
• Finalize documentation following customer interactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends and apply this in discussions with customers.
• Incorporate marketing promotions and programs into customer dialogues where applicable.
• Ensure the confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
• Detect and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
• Comply with regulatory and compliance standards, including AML/ATF, FCAC consumer guidelines, and Privacy Act provisions.
• Complete complex and varied tasks within established rules and limits, including escalations from other employees.
• Analyze issues and decide on subsequent actions.
• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed choices aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Undertake broader responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Availability to work from 8:00AM to 6:00PM EST, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
• Generally, 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study is preferable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Awareness of competitive marketplace trends and product offerings.
• Familiarity with BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensing as an Investment Representative is preferred.
• The Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Derivatives Exam must be completed within a designated timeframe to fully function in the role.
• Some knowledge of Risk Management & Compliance.
• Specialized knowledge relevant to the position.

• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in both French and English to assist clients and team members, particularly inside and/or outside Quebec.
