This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comprehend customer requirements and deliver wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.
• Provide guidance to customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that align with their goals.
• Execute sales and service tasks following established procedures.
• Identify opportunities for referrals to other business units as necessary.
• Conduct outbound calls and actively seek opportunities to enhance customer experience with suitable investment products.
• Keep abreast of consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Deliver high-quality sales and service for inquiries, issues, and requests from customers and prospects.
• Explore customer needs and offer tailored advice on unique investment requirements.
• Meet sales targets focused on pertinent investment products.
• Manage transactional outcomes or direct contacts to the appropriate internal business units.
• Escalate intricate or unresolved customer issues to senior management.
• Finalize documentation post-customer interactions to ensure accurate processing of requests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends.
• Incorporate marketing promotions and initiatives into customer discussions where relevant.
• Safeguard confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
• Detect and report suspicious activity patterns related to money laundering.
• Comply with regulatory and compliance standards, including provisions of AML/ATF, FCAC, and the Privacy Act.
• Complete complex and varied tasks within established guidelines, including handling escalations from other staff.
• Analyze challenges and determine subsequent actions.
• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed choices that align with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Undertake broader responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
• Generally, 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with competitive market trends and product offerings.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.
• Basic understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
• Specialized knowledge in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
