Investment Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Perform an overview and analysis of commercial and financial data for acquisition targets.

• Develop and present evaluations of the initial suitability of acquisition targets.

• Conduct market research to gain insights into industry trends and identify new acquisition prospects.

• Locate software companies that align with our acquisition criteria and metrics, advancing opportunities through the deal cycle.

• Assist the M&A team with various ad hoc tasks related to the completion of ongoing deals.

• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding data requests, information sharing, project team meetings, and deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A maximum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

• - Transaction advisory services, including Quality of Earnings and Quality of Revenue engagements.

• - Buy-side financial due diligence advisory.

• - Public accounting / external audit experience serving technology or software companies.

• - Corporate development, FP&A, or finance roles at software or SaaS businesses.

• - Revenue accounting and operations experience at software or SaaS companies.

• - Controllership / accounting operations experience at software or SaaS companies.

• - Business operations or strategic finance experience at software or SaaS businesses.

• - Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.

• - Proven strong academic performance from a top-tier institution.

• - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field; CPA or CFA track is a significant advantage.

• - Professional maturity and presence to effectively engage with C-level executives.

• - Availability to work half of each day in accordance with the business hours of our North American office.

• - Self-starter with excellent sales and communication skills.

• - Proficient in written and spoken English.

• - Strong analytical abilities and Microsoft Suite skills, with a keen attention to detail.
