Investigative Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on subjects utilizing public records databases, court systems, corporate registries, and open-source resources across various jurisdictions.

• Detect risk indicators, inconsistencies, patterns, and investigative leads.

• Adhere to quality standards and turnaround times for each task.

• Engage with the Alias team through chat, video conferencing, and shared documents.

• Review and accept assignments via the Alias analyst marketplace that align with your expertise, language proficiency, and availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in due diligence, enhanced due diligence (EDD), AML/KYC investigations, or corporate intelligence.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Strong analytical skills along with sound investigative judgment.

• Practical experience with public records and open-source research.

• Capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Comfort with remote work and virtual collaboration.

• Keen attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a sense of investigative curiosity.

• A bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred, with languages and proficiency levels specified.

• Familiarity with due diligence databases such as LexisNexis, CLEAR, TLO, and OpenCorporates.

• Ability to successfully undergo background verification prior to joining the marketplace.
