Inventory Management Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish and oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI/CPS) programs at customer sites.

• Scan and replenish inventory at customer locations.

• Ensure bins are filled and maintain appropriate inventory levels with minimal surplus.

• Investigate and address customer issues related to C-Parts Solutions.

• Develop and sustain professional relationships with customers.

• Transport products to customer locations.

• Place orders for replenishment.

• Accurately deliver products and organize inventory according to customer and company standards.

• Resolve customer issues on-site and relay concerns to internal departments.

• Identify potential additional Würth products and refer leads to the relevant departments.

• Keep work areas, CPS racks, bins, and signage tidy and organized.

• Recognize and communicate opportunities for process improvements, including bin quantities, new parts, and inventory turnover.

• Adhere to company fleet policies and procedures.

• Enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

• Execute duties safely, comply with safety protocols, report hazards, and maintain an organized department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Experience with VMI programs, customer service, driving, or a similar role is advantageous.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Current DOT Medical Certificate or the ability to obtain one.

• Must meet driver selection criteria as outlined in the Fleet Policy.

• A clean driving record is essential.

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.

• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Capability to learn new computer systems.

• Ability to foster and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Responsiveness to customer needs, ability to solicit feedback, and manage challenging customer interactions.

• A team player who is adaptable to change.

• A highly effective self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand training materials, shipping documents, procedure manuals, and similar texts.

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, performed accurately and efficiently.

• Must successfully complete forklift training and maintain certification.

• Capacity to lift up to 80 lbs. and frequently lift 40–60 lbs.

• Ability to walk and stand on concrete for 8–10 hours daily.

• Willingness to work in customer facilities and various driving conditions.

• Ability to comprehend and implement written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.

• Competence in solving problems that involve multiple variables in standardized environments.
