International Development Program/Project Training and Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional and management development training for DOL ILAB Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL), and Data Services.

• Develop and implement training and technical support on indicators, analysis, surveys, adaptive management, and evaluation planning.

• Facilitate collaborative learning and sensemaking workshops.

• Gather and analyze participant feedback.

• Teach practical techniques and foster learning.

• Transform insights into actionable results.

• Monitor programs and assess impact.

• Convert labor data into clear insights that drive global initiatives.

• Modify training materials to meet language requirements with the help of qualified translation services.

• Collaborate with the Lead Evaluator to document lessons learned.

• Support up to four activities each year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in adult learning design.

• Strong knowledge of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL).

• Proficient in effective facilitation for diverse international audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, evaluation, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in MEL training.

• Skills in instructional design.

• Competence in workshop facilitation.

• Experience in remote or hybrid delivery.

• Expertise in feedback design.

• Ability to create accessible learning materials.

• Knowledge of audience responsiveness, facilitation, inclusion, and practical knowledge transfer.

• Proficiency in adapting materials to requested languages using qualified translation support.

• Capability to assist in evaluation sensemaking sessions and document insights.

• Proficiency in English as a work/job-site language.
