This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Drive sales and foster robust relationships with producers to generate revenue and achieve sales targets.
• Actively reach out to agents and recruit new ones to expand a book of business.
• Enhance agent recruitment and retention through innovative sales strategies, marketing initiatives, illustrations, and effective utilization of company resources.
• Cultivate relationships with key producers concerning intricate sales concepts, marketing strategies, and product details.
• Sustain and advance team sales objectives in alignment with sales resources.
• Engage in proactive calling to designated agents to expand the territory.
• Generate new business by recruiting agents and developing existing agent groups.
• Collaborate with sales resources for producer development.
• Reach out to underperforming agents in a sales capacity.
• Maintain supportive relationships with sales teams, operations, assigned agents, and solution centers.
• Acquire expert knowledge of products, carriers, and company resources.
• Coordinate with sales teams and producers on complex and advanced illustrations and creative solutions.
• Utilize the company client management system to oversee the sales process.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
• Proficient time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Capability to operate in a self-directed manner.
• Experience using PCs in a Windows setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
• Skill in analyzing issues and formulating solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Maturity, competitiveness, and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector, life and related insurance products, and sales processes.
• Basic understanding of insurance underwriting.
• Two years of experience in the life insurance industry, with at least one year in a sales support role.
• Preferred: Series 6 and State Insurance Licenses.
• Preferred: Familiarity with sales concepts, illustrations, and the underwriting process.
• Successful completion of a background screening.
