Internal Security Compliance Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Conduct extensive internal assessments of client-uploaded evidence for SOC2, ISO27001, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.

• Perform meticulous quality assurance evaluations on individual controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adequacy prior to third-party audits.

• Execute thorough final QA assessments before clients collaborate with external auditors.

• Identify deficiencies or vulnerabilities in evidence documentation and suggest enhancements.

• Establish and uphold internal QA standards and review processes.

• Develop instructional documents to assist clients in enhancing evidence quality.

• Collaborate with Security Program Engineers to resolve compliance issues.

• Stay updated on changing compliance requirements across various frameworks.

• Monitor audit readiness metrics and pinpoint opportunities for process improvements.

• Offer expert insights to the product team for enhancements to the compliance platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SOC2, ISO27001, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.

• Strong technical expertise in security controls and their implementation.

• Experience in reviewing and assessing evidence for compliance audits, particularly in preparing organizations for external audit processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a quality control mindset.

• Strong written communication abilities for documenting findings effectively.

• Capability to work independently while managing multiple client engagements.

• Familiarity with compliance automation platforms and tools.

• Experience in pre-audit preparation and internal quality assurance, ideally across multiple frameworks.

• Certification in relevant frameworks (e.g., CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) is preferred.
