This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the evaluation and auditing of specific stop loss claim submissions

• Verify claim documentation and accompanying records for thoroughness and precision

• Examine medical and pharmaceutical claims data

• Aid in the detection of claim inconsistencies, overpayments, and audit observations

• Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to organize, analyze, and present data

• Assist auditors in the preparation of client reports and audit summaries

• Engage in process enhancement initiatives and special projects

• Uphold the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and sensitive client data

• Communicate with team members regarding audit results and project updates

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently a sophomore in college pursuing a degree in Healthcare or a related Science field

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting

• Relevant coursework or internship experience in healthcare, insurance, auditing, or claims administration

• Understanding of healthcare claims processing or medical billing principles

• Experience utilizing Excel features such as formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivot tables

• Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, DRG, or RBRVS

• Experience with Microsoft Access or other database applications
