This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Oversee the daily pipeline to identify necessary tasks.
• Accurately and efficiently prepare proposals and engagement agreements.
• Set up the workflow system for illustration requests.
• Gain an understanding of the products and services provided by Blue Ridge Associates.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Record Keeping Wholesalers, DCIO Wholesalers, Advisors, and Internal Blue Ridge Partners.
• Complete and maintain internal databases in line with Internal Partner procedures.
• Meet assigned objectives concerning turnaround times, production, and precision.
• Promptly communicate significant issues and exceptions to the appropriate higher-level authority within the organization.
• Prepare the transfer of information from one system to another for the New Business Team.
• Assist the sales team by providing meeting materials for potential clients and financial advisors.
• Undertake ancillary projects as requested.
• Investigate and input new referral relationships into the Pipeline.
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in retirement plan sales/service.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities, collaborative skills, and oral/written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• An associate or bachelor's degree; equivalent skills and industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with retirement plans or retirement plan recordkeeping systems.
• Previous support experience for consultants or specialists in a financial or benefits-related field.
• Prior experience in a TPA environment.
• Understanding of IRS regulations related to retirement plans.
