Intern – Oncology Research and Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Gain insights into clinical testing and the processes involved in test development.

• Acquire knowledge of molecular techniques, including Next Generation Sequencing.

• Support complex data analysis and contribute to writing projects.

• Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret experimental results.

• Present findings during laboratory meetings.

• Collaborate with the Oncology Research and Development team to develop or enhance Oncology-focused assays or testing capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, or Biological Science.

• Previous and/or active Labcorp Internship is required.

• Practical experience in a laboratory focused on cell or molecular biology.

• A strong interest in the fields of clinical testing or molecular research.

• A natural curiosity and a strong desire to learn new concepts.

• Preferred: 3-6 months of experience with Next Generation Sequencing technologies.
