Intern Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop small UI components and pages using Svelte 5 / TypeScript in alignment with the design system

• Create entries for the component library and establish unit/browser tests for both new and existing components

• Address well-defined bugs within the new platform as well as legacy projects

• Integrate basic REST endpoints with supervision

• Engage in code reviews, accept feedback, and progressively review pull requests from others

• Ensure type checks, linting, and tests remain error-free during modifications

• Enhance documentation and conventions wherever discrepancies are identified

• Responsibly learn and implement AI-assisted development techniques

• Contribute to a web platform for machine learning data annotation utilizing Svelte 5, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Bun

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience and/or a GitHub profile showcasing personal projects for team evaluation

• Strong foundational knowledge of TypeScript

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS

• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (Svelte, React, Vue, etc.)

• Good grasp of client-server communication principles

• Basic understanding of Git

• Capability to interpret technical documentation and adhere to engineering standards

• Proficient in written and spoken English (preferably at least B1 level)

• In-depth knowledge of Svelte/SvelteKit and Tailwind

• Experience in unit testing frameworks (Vitest/Jest)

• Practical experience with AI-assisted workflows
