Intermediate Pension Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Work closely with functional leaders and business analysts to clearly outline test scope and criteria.

• Examine technical documents and configuration specifications to pinpoint essential test scenarios.

• Conduct calculation tests, verify outcomes, and document any identified discrepancies.

• Sustain and enhance the test suite in accordance with new features and system updates.

• Engage in calculation review sessions and team meetings to confirm the accuracy of configurations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, actuarial, business) to address identified issues.

• Suggest enhancements to verification and testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.

• Over 4 years of pertinent experience in defined benefit pension plan administration.

• Background in calculation verification and/or implementation of pension plan calculation systems.

• Proficient in pension calculation software.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Knowledge of VBA programming (considered an asset).

• Exceptional organizational abilities and effective priority management.

• Capacity to tackle complex problems.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to professionalism.

• Capability to work efficiently both collaboratively and independently.
