This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Ensure that services and components are clearly defined, modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, and actively monitored.
β’ Design, implement, test, and deploy distributed software services utilizing an Angular front end and a .NET back end.
β’ Employ Domain Driven Design to model the business domain and determine microservice boundaries.
β’ Engage in feature scoping in collaboration with the Product and engineering teams.
β’ Convert plain-language feature specifications into technical designs, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Recognize gaps and ambiguities prior to implementation.
β’ Implement features leveraging AI-assisted development tools and review modifications for accuracy, security, and maintainability.
β’ Develop unit and integration tests for every alteration.
β’ Participate in peer code reviews.
β’ Contribute to architectural decisions for both front-end and back-end systems.
β’ Work alongside the UX team using Figma designs to create customer-centric experiences.
β’ Collaborate with developers and other departments to devise technical solutions and support company growth.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
β’ Over 3 years of professional full-stack development experience.
β’ Proficient in Angular (component architecture, RxJS, state management).
β’ Strong experience with C# and .NET.
β’ Robust experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
β’ Solid background in working with SQL databases (schema design and queries).
β’ Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools on a daily basis (e.g., Claude, Claude Code, or similar) and integrating AI tools with IDEs to enhance coding, testing, and code review processes.
β’ Experience in transforming written feature specifications into functional software, including clarifying ambiguous or incomplete requirements.
β’ Familiarity with code reviews, including assessing AI-generated code.
β’ Working knowledge of secure coding practices: OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization, input validation, and secrets handling.
β’ A proactive and efficient work approach.
β’ Strong written communication skills, including clear PR descriptions and technical documentation.
β’ Demonstrated ownership and accountability for project delivery.
β’ Nice-to-have: Experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud integration, PaaS, Node.js, Figma, AI/LLM APIs, MCP or other agentic/IDE-integration tools, CAD or 3D modeling software, and manufacturing or industrial software.
